Welcome to create the future together with us! We are now looking for a digital communicator for a stimulating and developing position with a lot of variation at our communications office. The communications office is a unit within the area of Culture, Communication, and Service. We are a small organization with a broad, municipality-wide mission, which places high demands on the ability to work independently and with great flexibility.
Job Description
As a communicator with us, you will work both strategically and operationally. Your tasks mainly consist of working practically with the web as well as visual and digital channels. You will work independently to plan, gather, and produce information in text, photo, and video content for our internal and external channels. You will also participate in strategic work with communication plans and initiatives in collaboration with the municipality's various operations.
You will also support other tasks that occur in a communications office. You are one of the two communicators in the organization and report to the head of the Culture, Communication, and Service department.
In this role, you will further develop and manage the communications office's digital platforms, such as the website, intranet, social media, and other digital channels. You will ensure that our systems and channels comply with current legal requirements for accessibility and are inclusive for all users. You are responsible for the communications office's system management, including implementation, development, and ongoing management of, for example, CMS and image bank.
The role also involves continuous work with communication – from planning and publishing to quality assurance of content. You will create video material for social channels and support, if necessary, with tasks such as image management, simpler graphic production, and communication planning.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- has a university degree in communication, journalism, media, or equivalent.
- has at least two years of experience in strategic and operational work with digital communication, including web and social media.
- has high digital competence and is familiar with various systems, platforms, and tools.
- has experience in web and intranet management.
- is proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.
- has worked with advertising, such as Google Ads or advertising on social media.
- has experience taking responsibility for the entire communication process, from strategy and planning to execution and follow-up, including tone, message, and structure.
- has strong editorial skills with experience in writing and tailoring content for different channels.
- has very good language skills in Swedish and English.
- is updated on current accessibility requirements and other laws in the communication field.
It is an advantage if you:
- can analyze user behavior and system data to optimize functionality, web design, user experience (UX), and content structure.
- have experience working in Sitevision or similar web platforms.
- have experience leading and driving development projects within digital communication, such as platform migrations, implementation of new modules or systems.
- are accustomed to working with content structure and metadata to ensure that information is easily accessible and accurate.
- are curious about and use AI tools as support in idea generation, content production, and optimization.
- have experience working in the public sector.
- have experience in crisis communication.
