Job Responsibilities

In the role of Business Controller, you will primarily be responsible for driving the budgeting and purchasing process, which includes analysis and follow-up of sales, purchases, and key figures related to purchasing. You will also work with NK Retail's financial planning and be responsible for developing, coordinating, and following up on this within given frameworks to achieve profitability goals.

Furthermore, you will work with key figure reports, KPI follow-up, and the budgeting process in consultation with the CFO. You will also play an important role in analyzing future investments in line with profitability goals and follow-up on outcomes.

It also includes driving and owning Business Cases and business development projects where deemed appropriate. Finally, you will be responsible for producing business-related decision-making materials and presentation materials for the management team and board.

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

• Academic education in economics

• 3-5 years of experience in controlling in a fast-paced industry with a clear connection to purchasing

• Experience in budgeting and preparation as well as follow-up of business cases

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense – NK Retail uses Power BI

• Very good knowledge of Excel

Desirable:

• Experience in retail
