JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Coach, you are part of the municipality's guides and catalysts for dialogue, information, efficiency, and person-centered elderly care. You support residents in matters related to elderly care, nutrition, exercise, and movement, as well as guiding and advising seniors. You will drive a development effort that aligns with the new Social Services Act, where the implementation of new working methods or interventions will take place. The role combines strategic analysis with good knowledge of Skurup Municipality and relevant laws and regulations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Outward-facing: organize, invite, participate, and be responsible for events, lectures, and meetings for seniors.
  • Improvement & change: Lead and drive improvement initiatives for the municipality's seniors.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate internal and external cooperation to broaden the range of opportunities for seniors.
  • Quality & compliance: Ensure that current interventions can be seen as part of the transition to the new Social Services Act and that they have a scientific basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

You need to have a post-secondary education in care/social work or equivalent that the employer deems comparable. It is advantageous if you have documented experience (at least 5-7 years) in elderly care, leadership roles, or qualified improvement work. The employer places great emphasis on personal suitability for the role.

Very good knowledge of SoL, HSL, regulations, and national guidelines in elderly care. A strong communicative and pedagogical ability, accustomed to leading meetings, workshops, and anchoring processes. Very good ability to build relationships and create trust both within and outside the organization.

Experience in monitoring, analysis, and reporting of operational data/key figures.

Good digital maturity, familiar with operational systems and welfare technology.

Good ability to document and produce written reports.
