Seeking Engaged Contact Persons, Guides, and Respite Caregivers

We are now looking for engaged and secure contact persons, guides, and respite caregivers within the disability services sector.

Your Mission

As a contact person, guide, or respite caregiver, you contribute with an important effort for a fellow human being with a disability. The mission suits you who want to work extra a few hours a week or month.

In your role as a contact person, you are a fellow human being who promotes social contacts and contributes to a meaningful everyday life. You support the individual according to their needs and interests, and you are there to provide simple advice in everyday situations. Being a contact person differs from being a guide and respite caregiver as this is a mission with compensation in the form of fees and expense reimbursement.

As a guide, you enable the individual to participate in activities outside the home. The variety of activities is great and can include walks, cinema visits, football matches, or fixed activities.

Being a respite caregiver means providing relatives of children with disabilities an opportunity for relief in their everyday life. Activities usually take place at home or in the surrounding area. As a respite caregiver, lighter caregiving tasks may be included, such as support during toilet visits or preparing simple meals.

Your Experience

To be considered as a contact person, guide, or respite caregiver, we see that you:

• Are 18 years or older.
• Master the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
