Welcome to the infant and toddler team at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Bup) in Lund!
Bup specialist psychiatry in Lund and Eslöv has over 100 employees and serves children and adolescents up to 18 years old and their families in eight municipalities. The area has three outpatient clinics, two of which are located in Lund.
The infant and toddler team in Lund is part of the outpatient care and focuses on infant psychiatry with an emphasis on attachment and interaction treatment. We accept pregnant women and families with children under four years old where there are emotional difficulties in the relationship between the child and parent. Our team works from a family perspective with various psychotherapeutic treatment interventions aimed at the relationship between child and parent. Within our team, there are four positions consisting of social workers and psychologists. We are organizationally part of one of the outpatient clinics in Lund where our unit manager and administrative support from a secretary are located.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities include performing qualified interaction work with children under six years old together with their parents. You will also conduct qualified child psychiatric assessments based on the current symptom picture and the interaction with parents. Furthermore, there are psychotherapeutic family conversations, parent conversations, and group treatments. You collaborate and plan interventions together with colleagues to offer our patients the best possible care.
The work as a therapist is challenging, stimulating, varied, and gives you the opportunity to work creatively with children and young people in complex cases. The work includes actively working to develop the operations and implement new knowledge and methods.
We are a small team that works transprofessionally in close collaboration. The working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who apply have a recognized degree in social work. We view it positively if you have a license as a healthcare social worker and/or basic psychotherapy training. If you belong to a licensed profession, language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. For non-licensed professions, good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required. Experience in treatment work with infant and toddler families and knowledge of children's early development and attachment is meritorious. Furthermore, interaction competence such as Marte Meo, Theraplay, or WWW treatment is meritorious, as well as education/experience in working with CCP or other trauma treatment aimed at small children. Competence that is also of interest to us is experience working in groups with COS-P and with diagnostics for small children in DC0-5.
