The Workplace
Within the Functional Support Department, there are several group homes according to LSS. The goal is to enable independence, self-determination, and participation to the greatest extent possible, based on each user's ability.
The department's group home Väduren is a facility where residents need support with communication and have autism. We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to join us and continue to develop the residence around these areas and joyfully support our residents in their daily lives.

Job Responsibilities
In your daily work as a support assistant, you provide support and guidance to users in their daily lives based on a pedagogical and practical approach. The support includes assistance with activities, cooking, care/hygiene, and skill training.
Using the users' implementation plan as a starting point, you work to establish, drive, and follow up on goals and realize the highest possible quality and participation for the user in daily life.
The foundation of the work is good and clear communication as well as a good approach. You work to create calm and security for the users in various situations they encounter in their daily lives. Furthermore, you are a support and create conditions for good contact with relatives, healthcare, and other contacts that are important for each user. You primarily collaborate with other support assistants, support educators, and management to continuously develop the operations and achieve set goals.

Qualifications
For the role of support assistant, we are looking for someone who has:
- A high school diploma or vocational degree from the health and care program, the child and leisure program, or another equivalent education that the employer deems comparable
- At least one year of combined professional experience in meeting and supporting people with disabilities
Furthermore, you need to have good computer skills and be able to read and write social documentation in Swedish. You also need to have good physical ability to carry out and support activities with the users.
For this position as a support assistant, it is advantageous if you have:
- Professional experience and knowledge of one or more of the following areas; clear pedagogical methods; working with challenging behavior and TAKK.
- A driving license for a manual transmission vehicle
Personal qualities that are important for the position include being stable and secure in yourself, attentive to the user's needs, and taking responsibility while collaborating well with everyone you meet. You adapt easily to changing circumstances and see opportunities instead of obstacles. You use your analytical ability and strive to improve the daily lives of our users.
Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented along with identification documents.
Working Hours
Rotating schedule day/evening/weekend (38.25 hours/week)
