The Adult Psychiatry Area (VO) in Kristianstad provides outpatient care in Hässleholm, Kristianstad, Simrishamn, and Ystad. The emergency department and all inpatient care are located in Kristianstad. For residents of Ystad, Skurup, and Sjöbo, inpatient care and emergency services are offered in Malmö and Lund. Our catchment area includes the northeastern and southeastern municipalities of Skåne, with a total of approximately 300,000 people. We have a good collaboration with the municipalities through cooperation meetings and care planning. Despite a large geographical spread, our operations are characterized by proximity and short decision-making paths.

The Adult Psychiatry Clinic in Ystad is a well-functioning, fully staffed, and stable operation where we care for each other and our patients. We assess and treat patients with affective disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, as well as various forms of personality disorders and neuropsychiatric conditions. We work with a stepwise and individually tailored treatment both in groups and individually to meet the patients' needs. Here, you will meet about 45 employees with a genuine interest in providing our patients with the best possible care. We work in interdisciplinary specialist teams to collectively meet the patient's needs. The teams consist of doctors, psychologists, nurses, caregivers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, medical secretaries, and social workers.

Our clinic is in constant development and works on implementing standardized care processes and the person-centered care approach.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

One of our dear colleagues is going on parental leave, and we are now looking for a social worker for a temporary position with us!

As a social worker, your main responsibilities include psychosocial counseling, assessment, and investigation, as well as psychosocial treatment work. You work comprehensively and are the unit's specialist in psychosocial issues for both patients and staff, as well as externally to care partners. Your tasks also include working with networks and coordination. You represent the clinic outwardly and are the natural link to the clinic for social services, child and adolescent psychiatry, community service, and other psychosocial partners.

Your work includes the role of the unit's child representative, where you work preventively for both children and relatives through child-oriented conversations and various child and family interventions. You are also the adult relative representative and meet our patients' adult relatives in family conversations and collaborate with the municipalities' relative consultants.

When you start, you will receive an introduction tailored to your knowledge and experience. The organization has ongoing development and improvement work in various areas, which gives you great opportunities to influence both your own and the clinic's work. We also offer you training and further development based on your own interests and the needs of the organization.

Working hours are weekdays from 08:00 to 16:30 with the possibility of flexible hours.

The position is a temporary position for 1 year, with the possibility of extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker. If you are also a licensed healthcare social worker, it is considered an advantage. If you belong to a licensed professional group, language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. For non-licensed professions, good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required.

Additionally, we see it as advantageous if you have:

• Experience working in psychiatry.
• Worked within social services, children and family, as an investigator or family therapist, or have other experience meeting children and parents for support.
• Knowledge in the area of social law.
• Training and experience in child and family-oriented conversations.
• Knowledge and experience of existing IT systems such as Melior, Mina planer, and Våps.

In your work, you are structured, self-driven, and flexible, and can maintain an overarching perspective on patient work where you clearly see your role and contribution.
