Social Advisor at Navet in Eslöv Municipality

The new Social Services Act now sets the framework for a more preventive, equal, and accessible social service. With a focus on early interventions, collaboration, and increased accessibility, the opportunities to meet people's needs at an early stage are strengthened. In Eslöv Municipality, we have already taken important steps in this direction. Through the initiative Navet, we currently operate a service focused on early, voluntary, and coordinated interventions for adults, children, and families.

We are now looking for another social advisor for Navet who wants to help strengthen and develop our work moving forward. Together, we will continue to build a service that reflects the future of social services – accessible, preventive, and close to the residents.

With us, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful development work and make a real difference for the citizens of Eslöv Municipality.

Your Mission

As an advisor at Navet, you will work with early and voluntary interventions without means testing, guiding people in various life situations. You will have an operational role and meet residents in many different contexts – in individual conversations, in group activities, out in the municipality, and in collaboration with other professionals.

Your Role Includes:

  • Working proactively and preventively to strengthen protective and health factors
  • Offering information, guidance, and support to adults as well as to children and families - at the right level and at the right time
  • Collaborating with health care, schools, community organizations, civil society, and other municipal services
  • Conducting outreach work, both at Navet and out in the municipality. Working hours may also be scheduled for evenings and, in some cases, weekends
  • Documenting interventions according to applicable legislation and internal routines

Your Experience

To thrive in this role, we see that you are secure, responsible, and genuinely engaged in preventive social work.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A degree in social work or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
  • Experience working in social services or similar fields
  • Knowledge of and experience with preventive and promoting methods

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience working with young adults and adults
  • In-depth experience of collaboration in interdisciplinary contexts

Is This You?

We are looking for someone who thrives in a development-oriented environment where meeting people is the focus. You contribute new ideas, have a professional demeanor, and create trusting relationships.

  • You can adapt to changing circumstances and find solutions even when situations change rapidly
  • You contribute new ideas and develop methods that strengthen the service and meet residents' needs effectively
  • You have a strong service focus - you want to make a difference and go beyond what is expected
  • You build and maintain good relationships with residents, colleagues, and partners, creating trust in your work
