EDUCATION ADMINISTRATION

The Education Administration works with a perspective from 1 to 19 years and includes preschool, school, and after-school care. We work systematically and inclusively in our processes with a clear focus on children and students, which is one of the reasons for our good results in both preschool and school. BALDERS SCHOOL

At Balders School, with just over 430 students, you have the opportunity to work in professional and creative teams. Together with colleagues and the school's principal and two assistant principals, you will be involved in building and further developing Balders School.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As one of two social pedagogues at Balders School, you are linked to Balders School's safety team and attendance team. In the safety team, which consists of a school nurse, counselor, and social pedagogues, you work preventively based on a fixed annual cycle based on the organization's plan against bullying. In the attendance team, which consists of a counselor, special educator, and social pedagogues, you work cross-professionally to support individual students back to school.

In addition to tasks related to the safety team and attendance team, you will provide daily support to students in their social development. You do this by working motivationally and addressing value-based issues in both individual conversations with students and during activities such as recess and educational lunch. Furthermore, you support mentors and teachers to prevent conflict and manage any conflict situations that arise.

QUALIFICATIONS

The basic requirement is that you hold a degree in areas directed towards youth, pedagogy, social work, or equivalent degree. Preferably training in MI and Repulse.

You have experience working with children and youth.

You also have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in daily work.
