The reception in Ängelholm consists of approximately 32 employees from various professional categories, including doctors, nurses, nursing assistants/caregivers, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, and medical secretaries. The reception is divided into two different teams. Patients with affective disorders, anxiety disorders, as well as various forms of personality disorders and neuropsychiatric conditions are primarily assessed and treated at the reception. The reception is at the forefront of development and works with standardized care programs and team-based care. You will thus have the opportunity to work with and contribute to psychiatric care characterized by collaboration, openness, and quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a rehabilitation coordinator, you will support doctors and other employees in insurance medicine matters together with an insurance medical specialist doctor. You will be the contact person and partner for external actors such as the Social Insurance Agency, the Employment Service, the Social Services, and employers. The role includes participating as support in digital meetings such as coordination and collaboration meetings, as well as being a knowledge provider and advisor. Additionally, you will support the patient in the rehabilitation process.

Your work will also involve:

  • Creating conditions for coordination
  • Organizing and establishing routines and structure around insurance medical issues
  • Managing sick leave statistics
  • Participating in follow-ups of work-oriented interventions with authorities, patients, and doctors
  • Coordinating the patient's rehabilitation
  • Ensuring that there are updated and local guidelines for the sick leave process at the relevant unit
  • Informing the patient about how work-oriented rehabilitation works and being available for questions
  • Being consultative support for doctors in the rehabilitation process

When you take on the position, we offer you a shorter introduction conducted in collaboration with our sister reception's rehabilitation coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome applicants with a recognized higher education/university degree, preferably with a healthcare focus, that we deem relevant for the position. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required. For those trained in a regulated profession, language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required.

If you have further education in insurance medicine, it is highly meritorious. We view positively if you have work experience from psychiatry and knowledge of the Social Insurance Agency, the Employment Service, and the various assignments of the Social Services. Experience working with rehabilitation and insurance medicine is also an advantage.

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in working with psychosocial issues where the patient is the focus. As a person, you are flexible and enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams while also being accustomed to working independently. You have a knack for creating structure and stability in your work, as well as a creative and solution-focused approach aimed at promoting and seeing the whole in rehabilitation.
