Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, social psychiatry, and individual and family care.

We are now looking for a dedicated personal assistant for a woman living in Ystad. This is a unique opportunity for you who want to work in a role that is both meaningful, developmental, and full of everyday joy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working as a personal assistant is a qualified and responsible role. It requires personal maturity, sensitivity, and flexibility, but above all, a genuine commitment to making a difference in another person's life.

As an assistant, you are an important support in the user's everyday life; you contribute to safety, participation, and quality of life by helping with support, daily routines, and meaningful leisure activities. Your work is always based on the individual's unique needs and conditions, with the goal of creating good living conditions and as independent a life as possible. This is a profession for you who want to combine professional responsibility with care and presence in everyday life.

You provide support in the user's daily life, both at home and in connection with various activities. You work based on established structures and routines, and contribute to creating predictability and safety in everyday life. In your professional role, you are expected to be a reliable and stable person, both through your presence and your respectful approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in working with people and who has a respectful approach and professional attitude. You are independent, take responsibility in your work, and at the same time have a good ability to collaborate with both family and colleagues.

We prefer that you have experience working individually tailored to the needs, conditions, and resources of the individual. You are confident in your role, humble but clear in your communication style, and have a natural commitment to motivate and create meaningful moments in everyday life.

Qualifications:

• Studied nursing program, child and leisure program, or other educational training that the employer deems equivalent.
• Since the work involves social documentation, good Swedish language skills are required, both spoken and written.
• B driver's license

Meritorious:

• Experience as a personal assistant
• Knowledge and experience of working within LSS
• Experience and/or theoretical knowledge of low-arousal approach.
• Experience and/or theoretical knowledge of clarifying pedagogy.
