Who are we?

The school is small and personal, with about 100 students, which allows for close and meaningful relationships between teachers and students. Here we work with small teaching groups that provide opportunities for individual support and promote a positive learning environment. We are now looking for a substitute class teacher who wants to be part of our team and contribute to giving our students the best possible start on their educational journey.

Your Responsibilities:

We at Vånga School are now looking for an engaged and knowledgeable substitute class teacher for the second grade of primary school. It is a temporary position where the idea is that you will complete the second school year with the class but also be involved in starting up the third school year.

As a teacher, you will have an important role in creating a safe and inclusive environment where you contribute to the student developing according to their abilities, and work in a methodical and pedagogical way to reach out to the class's students. At Vånga School, we have the advantage of having smaller class sizes, which creates good conditions for sustainable learning.

As a class teacher, you will teach all subjects, which contributes to a variation in your work. We work based on the TRR model (think, calculate, and reason), which is a pedagogy we see works well. You will have close collaboration with other colleagues and be part of a well-functioning and supportive team. Here at Vånga School, we have a strong student focus and joy at work that contributes to a good working atmosphere.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher in grades F-3 with a valid teaching license. You are flexible, have an easy time collaborating, and have a natural ability to create positive relationships. Your pedagogical side motivates and contributes to a good learning environment.

Your leadership in the classroom is characterized by creating good learning environments, motivation, and a lot of joy at work for our students. You are a team player who believes in collaboration and works selflessly with your colleagues.

Since we are located outside the urban area, public transport is not optimally adapted, therefore we see that you need to have a driver's license and access to a car to be considered for the position, or alternatively live in the nearby area.
