The primary school/specialized primary school operations are part of the Education Administration. The operations include 21 primary schools and specialized primary school, with a total of approximately 4500 students. Five of the primary schools are secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operations also include after-school care.

Zederslund School is a 7-9 school in central Motala with close access to transportation. Our school idea:

About 350 students attend the school in 5 classes per grade. During the school day, students are often divided into different teaching groups in core subjects and modern languages. We have a high proportion of qualified teachers and work in teams and subject groups for students' development towards higher goal fulfillment. In recent years, the school has worked on school development in collaboration with the National Agency for Education to improve teaching. Being employed at Zederslund School means that you are involved in building a new school culture together with staff who have previously worked at two different schools. The classrooms are well-equipped with projectors and, in some cases, smartboards. Students have one-to-one loaned laptops and work with TEAMS as a learning platform. Student democracy is important at the school with a well-developed student council and class councils.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching Swedish as a second language in all grades 7-9 and in preparation classes together with colleagues. The work includes regular teacher tasks such as planning, teaching, and assessment in collaboration with colleagues in teams and subject groups.
