Who are we?

Our preschool is located in the Sandbyhov area with proximity to public transport. In our area, there are park areas and a library. We have a large yard that invites challenges for all ages. We have four departments, two aimed at younger children and two for older children. Solrosen has its own kitchen where our chef prepares meals for us.

Solrosen forms a unit together with Villa Eken and Lagerlunda preschools. Solrosen has access to special educators in area 4.

Working from a solution-focused approach, seeing opportunities, and building on strengths is important to us. Our vision drives us to make a difference for all children and create safe, joyful, and educational encounters. We work project-oriented based on a common story theme, and pedagogical documentation is used as our engine in our work with the children.

The relational approach permeates our work. We place great importance on our environments both indoors and outdoors and give children the opportunity to participate in their education.

Your Responsibilities

You will work to develop children's learning through clarifying pedagogy and documenting their progression. Together with your colleagues, you will create a stimulating and creative environment where children thrive and develop. You will be responsible for education and teaching based on children's interests and needs.

You will have regular time set aside for personal reflection, documentation, and planning together with your team.

You will be part of a development group where you work with colleagues on the unit's development in pedagogical matters.

Who are you?

You are a licensed preschool teacher with experience working with children in need of special support. You have knowledge in thematic and project-oriented teaching, pedagogical documentation, and digital learning tools. Furthermore, you are well acquainted with the preschool curriculum and can implement the assignment in practice.

As a person, you are creative and build on children's curiosity, inspiring and challenging them in their exploration. You have good pedagogical skills where you adapt your approach and communication based on individual circumstances.

You are attentive and have an easy time creating trusting relationships with both children and guardians as well as colleagues. For us, it is important to be able to laugh together and for all of us to contribute to a positive atmosphere.

You have a quality mindset and are driven to shape and develop the preschool further. Together with children and colleagues, you create innovative thinking, curiosity, and joy of exploration on several levels in the operation.

As a person, you are flexible and can adapt to changing circumstances that arise in everyday life. You see opportunities in challenges and take responsibility for our shared work environment to create a sustainable everyday life.

You have the ability to reflect on learning processes where you take your own initiatives to develop yourself as an individual, your team, and the education.
