Who are we?

The preschools Majgården, Fågelsången, and Vimpeln are located in the Oxelbergen district of Norrköping. It is a green area close to nature, forests, and playgrounds, but also within walking distance to the city center and nearby libraries.

Currently, there are about 160 children distributed across the three preschools in Oxelbergen. The preschools are just a stone's throw from each other, and we have a strong collaboration between them. We prefer to see ourselves as a cohesive unit with eight departments instead of three separate preschools. Collegial learning and the exchange of thoughts and ideas are self-evident to us.

We have a high proportion of qualified preschool teachers and childcare workers with a shared drive that contributes to our children having a safe and enjoyable everyday life filled with learning opportunities. We like to use stories, narration, playfulness, and imagination as teaching methods in meeting all the curriculum goals.

Your Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you are a pedagogical leader who, together with the team, drives and develops education according to the governing documents. You provide support and can bounce ideas and thoughts with colleagues. You have a reflective and analytical approach and prioritize each child's best interests.

The pedagogical work is organized and structured so that all children have influence and the opportunity to learn in a playful manner according to their individual abilities. You work in close professional collaboration with children, parents, and colleagues and take responsibility for creating good relationships with everyone.

You are responsible for the overall teaching environment of the preschool and can conduct tailored quality teaching based on different conditions.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher and well-grounded in the preschool's mission and its governing documents. You should preferably have a few years of experience as a preschool teacher.

To thrive with us, it is important that you have a clear child focus and a child rights perspective. You also contribute to a positive work climate, have excellent collaboration skills, and a strong commitment to your work as a preschool teacher.

You are curious and have the ambition to build a cutting-edge preschool together with colleagues. You are open to others' ideas and see shared learning as a development opportunity. It is important that you can collaborate humbly within the small work team, but also in a larger context. You are positive and take initiative. You focus on developing a preschool that suits all children.

You have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Basic IT skills are a requirement. To be considered for the position, you need to be able to have a work schedule within the preschool's operating hours, which are 6:15 AM to 6:30 PM.
