Who are we?

Vrinneviskolan is one of Norrköping's most modern schools. The school was inaugurated in the autumn term of 2020 when the entire F-6 and schoolyard were completed. There are currently 14 classes and about 275 students at the school.

The school is located close to Vrinneviskogen. The classrooms have an adapted learning environment and are equipped with smartboards, and students have access to computers.

Our goal is for the activities at Vrinneviskolan to be characterized by safety, well-being, and joy at work, with the student at the center. We want to be a school for everyone, and we have an active value-based work that is based on respect and pleasant interactions. All students should feel included, and the activities should be characterized by participation.

Our team consists of a group of positive, ambitious, and competent teachers, and now we are looking for you who want to help develop the school together with us.

To support you, you will have an engaged, clear, and supportive principal who prioritizes pedagogical leadership and a workplace where we work with the student at the center.

Your Responsibilities

As a music teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music for grades 1-6. You will plan, evaluate, and follow up on your teaching.

The teaching is based on a language and knowledge-developing approach and aims to spark curiosity, foster a desire to learn, be challenging, and provide opportunities for success based on each student's conditions and needs.

An exciting aspect of the position is the planning of Lucia and school graduations.

We have chosen to work with music in half classes with a maximum group size of 12 students. You will have close collaboration with other teachers and the after-school program.

Who are you?

We are looking for a certified teacher with subject competence in music, and we would like you to have experience teaching music as well.

As a person, you are secure and reliable, and you care about creating a safe and good learning environment for the students. You have the ability to independently design the teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements.

By being attentive and accommodating, you create trusting relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and other partners.

You have good pedagogical skills, adapting your communication based on different individuals' conditions. You are skilled at motivating and inspiring students to challenge themselves in their learning.

Since we work with people, we believe you have the ability to flexibly respond to changes that may arise during the workday, prioritizing your tasks based on urgency and importance as needed.

We are looking for someone who wants to join us on our journey and build Vrinneviskolan into a school for everyone. We view positively if you have knowledge of languages other than Swedish and English.
