Normlösa Preschool is a smaller preschool located in the countryside of the small community of Normlösa, situated between Skänninge and Mantorp. The preschool has two departments with two teams, where we have close cooperation between the teams and work together towards our prioritized area, Language. We create conditions for the children through a predictable operation and use play as a method for learning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will plan, implement, document, and develop the educational activities for preschool children according to the curriculum and the operational guidelines together with the rest of the team and the preschool. The goals for the operation are based on the Preschool Curriculum, the Education Act, and the School Ordinance.

You will lead the goal-oriented processes and in teaching be responsible for ensuring that care, development, and learning form a whole. Planning and implementation should be based on the curriculum and on the knowledge and experiences that the children have previously acquired.

You will ensure that spontaneously arising activities and interests, everyday activities, and routines in the preschool become part of the teaching, as well as develop educational content and environments that inspire development and learning and challenge and stimulate the children's interest and curiosity.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed preschool teacher. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position.

Your approach is characterized by commitment, creativity, and curiosity where you understand your role as a preschool teacher and the importance of collaboration to create a safe and educational preschool. Your approach is professional, and you meet other people with respect, empathy, and adapt your response to the needs of others. You have trust in the child's competence, which is utilized as an important resource in the learning processes. You are clear and responsive in your way of communicating and are expected to be a good role model with a respectful approach.

Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and documenting the educational work. You contribute your knowledge, thoughts, and ideas while being able to listen to colleagues and together with them develop the work at the preschool.

You are solution-focused, with the ability to see the whole at the preschool both independently and with others, and to coordinate and make quick decisions. You have the ability to adapt to changing conditions and are positive towards change initiatives. You seek opportunities for improvements, are creative, and take your own initiatives for changes that develop the operation in a positive direction.
