JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you an engaged occupational therapist who loves to make a difference? Then this job is for you!

We are now looking for an occupational therapist for our wonderful Homecoming Support Team! Here you will be part of a group of 29 employees, where we together help patients return to their home environment after a hospital stay. From planning to implementation of measures, we make a fantastic effort to create security and promote recovery directly in the patients' homes.

Your role? You will have the important responsibility for activity and environmental assessments, rehabilitation, and testing assistive devices. You will also help guide and delegate to nursing staff. The best part? You get to be part of a cross-professional team that works together to create the best conditions for our patients.

Do you want a job where you really make a difference? With us, you collaborate with case managers, nurses, nursing assistants, planners, and physiotherapists, and we have a close collaboration with Region Skåne to provide our patients with the best support.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist. Since communication and documentation are part of the job, you need good computer skills and to be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. A B driver's license for manual transmission is required for the position.

Your personal qualities are of great importance for the position, and we are looking for someone who has a good ability to collaborate and communicate and promotes a good work environment. To succeed in the role, you have a good empathetic ability and can work both independently and in a team. Furthermore, you have a rehabilitative/enabling perspective and the ability to motivate and inspire those around you. You can prioritize and plan while also being able to quickly adapt to the needs of the operation for the day. It is important that you can collaborate with different professions and have a holistic view. You can work in processes and build new working methods to create a team spirit.

OTHER

The Social Services Administration's activities are aimed at the elderly and people in need of functional support, as well as those in need of home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.
