JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a midwife with us, your responsibilities at the gynecology clinic include; abortion clinic, telephone counseling, and advice via Vårdguiden 1177. You will also work with midwifery services which include IUD insertions, insertion and removal of contraceptive implants, prolapse ring checks, follow-ups after sexual assaults, and cervical screening. The abortion services include abortion consultations, planning of abortions, and clinical care up to pregnancy week 22.

At the abortion clinic, you will also provide contraceptive counseling, telephone counseling, and advice via Vårdguiden 1177, infertility investigations, consultations for patients with vulvar issues, follow-up of endometriosis patients, and follow-up of cervical changes.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed midwife with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. It is an advantage if you have professional experience as a midwife, experience in abortion care, and/or in-depth knowledge of gynecological issues/conditions.

You enjoy working in a small team while being able to work across boundaries and have a professional attitude and good approach towards your patients and colleagues. Your work is characterized by accuracy and high quality, where you also work towards the goals of the organization. We see that you have good collaboration skills, enjoy working in a team, a desire to develop the organization, and a genuine interest in women's health. You are engaged and meticulous in your work and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
