At the Hospital in Ystad, emergency care is provided around the clock by qualified and dedicated staff, working for closeness and community. The hospital offers residents in the catchment area care with short waiting times in several specialties. At the hospital, we do our utmost to ensure that everyone feels comfortable - patients, relatives, and staff.

The diagnostic area (VO) consists of four units: Radiology Ystad, Radiology Kristianstad, Radiology Hässleholm, Clinical Physiology, and Nuclear Medicine Kristianstad. Within the area, there are approximately 250 employees. Our operation in Ystad comprises about 70 people.

The unit is modernly equipped with high-tech digital equipment. There are two CT scanners, two MRI machines (1.5 T), an intervention lab, two conventional X-ray machines, and two ultrasound rooms; we also have a sonographer working with us. We work with SECTRA IDS7. The unit operates 24/7 with on-call duties at night and performs approximately 52,000 examinations per year.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for two radiographers with a strong interest in diagnostics for Radiology Ystad. Your tasks include standard duties in a radiology department. Your work will be in close collaboration with doctors, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries.

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, night on-call, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a qualified radiographer with authorization to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. We would prefer if you have previous experience working in radiology. If you have experience working in our radiology journal system Sectra IDS7, it is an advantage.

To succeed in this role, you should have a good ability to work independently and have a very good approach towards our patients. We place great importance on personal suitability.
