Summer Jobs at Aronsbadet and Rånepoolen 2026

During the summers, we open our popular outdoor swimming pools, Aronsbadet and Rånepoolen, and we are now looking for staff for summer 2026 with the possibility of extra work both before and after the summer at our indoor pools.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working at the pools in Luleå municipality is a varied and exciting job. Together, we are part of creating opportunities for a healthy and meaningful leisure time in Luleå municipality.

Customer interaction and service are a significant part of the job, and it is important for us that this is something you feel comfortable with. Your task will be to focus on the guest and to constantly work to create pleasant experiences for our guests. In this role, you will primarily work to ensure a safe environment for our visitors. Your tasks include, among other things:

• supervision of swimming activities
• cleaning of our facility
• cash and café sales

The work includes shifts during the day, evening, and weekends.

Please indicate in your application if you can work at both outdoor pools or if you are specifically applying for one of them. We have more vacancies at Rånepoolen than at Aronsbadet.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for the position, you must:

• be at least 18 years old
• have good swimming skills and a strong sense of safety in water. You need to have passed the lifeguard test Guldbojen before a potential interview. The test must be conducted at Pontusbadet in central Luleå
• have good knowledge of Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience from working in swimming facilities or outdoor pools
• lifeguard training
• swimming instructor training and/or experience in swimming instruction
• training in CPR/defibrillator

To succeed and thrive in the role, you need to be responsible and have the ability to independently see what needs to be done. You are a positive and social person who enjoys working with customer interaction and service. It is also important that you can remain calm and work steadily even in pressured situations, such as emergencies.

If you are considered for the position, you will need to present a valid extract from the criminal record before employment.
