Your role

As a KMA Coordinator, you will be an important support in daily operations with a focus on workplace safety. You will work closely with managers, safety representatives, and employees, primarily in production. The work alternates between site visits, risk assessments, and support in ongoing matters, while also contributing to planning and developing workplace safety efforts.

In this role, you will have clear and independent responsibilities within parts of our local workplace safety work. You will ensure that routines are followed, act as consultative support to managers, and be a natural contact person for workplace safety issues. Over time, you may also take on greater coordination responsibilities as you grow into the role.

Examples of tasks:

  • Support managers operationally in workplace safety issues
  • Handle and drive workplace safety matters independently
  • Participate in risk assessments, safety rounds, and follow-ups
  • Support investigations of accidents and incidents
  • Coordinate and develop the systematic workplace safety work (SAM)
  • Collaborate with the safety organization and other internal functions

What you bring with you

You are someone who enjoys being close to operations while also creating structure in workplace safety work. You take initiative, drive issues forward, can build trust with both managers and employees, and adapt quickly to different situations and needs.

Requirements:

  • High school education
  • Relevant experience in workplace safety, or work experience from mining, construction, or other heavy industry
  • Administrative skills, including experience in writing and updating routine documents and working systematically with documentation
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Driver's license (B)

Meritorious:

  • Post-secondary education in workplace safety and/or additional training in workplace safety
