The Emergency Services Piteå-Älvsbyn is responsible for emergency services operations in Piteå and Älvsbyn and is part of Räddsam Nord together with 19 municipalities in Norrbotten and Västerbotten.

Responsibilities
As a coordinator for emergency services during heightened readiness, you will be responsible for being cohesive and driving RUHB issues for the Emergency Services Piteå-Älvsbyn, with the aim of ensuring the emergency services' ability to respond during heightened readiness.
As a coordinator, you will be responsible for issues related to analysis and preparatory planning to ensure that the emergency services in Piteå-Älvsbyn have a fundamental capability for emergency response during heightened readiness. Based on this, you will conduct various training initiatives and exercises for our internal staff. The role also involves working on development and overall planning with a focus on issues concerning collaboration around total defense and projects related to emergency services during heightened readiness.
You will be our representative in various networks aimed at developing together with other emergency services, county administrative boards, MSB, and, if necessary, other public organizations, volunteers, and private actors.
Based on your expertise, additional tasks within preventive or damage control work may become relevant.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with training as a firefighter GRIB and/or SMO through the Civil Defense Agency (formerly MSB) or Fire Engineer (BI) with advanced training in Emergency Services for fire engineers (RUB) or other education/work experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
For this assignment, knowledge of the emergency services' mission and structure is important. We expect you to be able to take on an operational role within the Emergency Services based on your expertise and to be eligible for further training through the Civil Defense Agency (formerly MSB).
A minimum B driver's license is required.
Employment
100% Permanent seasonal employment. Working hours are 40 hours a week. Flexible hours. Before an offer of employment, the municipality will conduct a background check, and the position may be security classified.

Employment requires Swedish citizenship as the position may be subject to security review according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
