Job Advertisement: BVKF Supervisor
The Swedish Armed Forces are in an expansion phase and on a significant growth journey. Here you have the opportunity to work in a dedicated and newly established department where you can develop while contributing to the organization's and department's development journey. In your role as BVKF Supervisor (Flammable Goods, Explosive Hazards, and Chemical Impact), you will be an important piece in driving the various processes of the staff and military region.
About the Department
The Northern Military Region's staff is located in Boden. Department J7 handles training and exercise issues as well as operational safety within the Northern Military Region (MR N). Within the department, there are various capabilities and focus areas where the main focus is on coordinating, planning, following up, and evaluating the training and exercise activities conducted within the military region. The position can be based in Kiruna, Boden, Umeå, Härnösand, or Östersund.
Main Responsibilities
Support C MR N in the area of handling the Armed Forces' regulations for handling flammable goods, general staff duties, and support in other operational safety tasks, primarily in the area of fire protection and IFTEX.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Academic degree in a relevant field, or another degree or work experience that the employer deems equivalent
- Good knowledge of how an administrative authority is governed
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and English
- Experience in project management and/or experience in a leadership role
- Worked as a BVKF Supervisor
- Driving license B

You thrive in working independently and in a team. It is important that you are meticulous, flexible, have good collaboration skills, and are open to working in a changing environment. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
DESIRABLE
- Knowledge in the area of chemical management
- Experience working in PRIO and its deviation system
- Knowledge of the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods (LBE)
- Training as a Fire Protection Officer
- Experience working with operational safety/work environment issues
- Knowledge of the Armed Forces' operational safety work and processes.
- Good knowledge of the MS Office package

Other
Employment is permanent. The Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority. Employment degree: Full-time. The position is Civil. Work location: Alternative places Kiruna, Boden, Umeå, Härnösand, Östersund. The work may involve travel in service both domestically and internationally. Working hours are partly irregular.
Further training in the area of operational safety FM occurs.
Start date by agreement.
