As an inspection technician within TrfV, you will have a meaningful and socially important mission where you will experience exciting technology and varied tasks. The Ground Workshop Unit (MvE), with the Traffic Worthiness Department (TrfV), is a unit within the Army Staff (AST) that performs traffic worthiness and functional checks with status assessments on the Swedish Armed Forces' ground vehicles, air base materials, and provides technical system support. TrfV has over 100 employees and operates throughout the country.

Main Responsibilities

The work mainly consists of performing traffic worthiness checks and status assessments (basic supervision) on the Armed Forces' vehicles and vehicle systems, thereby contributing to ensuring high quality, functionality, and a good working environment. The work primarily takes place at our fixed control station in Boden, but it also occurs at other locations both nationally and internationally where the Armed Forces operate. Travel in the service is required.

REQUIREMENTS Qualifications

  • Completed two- or three-year vehicle technology education, or other relevant technical education, or equivalent competence acquired through work experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Knowledge of the MS Office package, preferably Excel and Word
  • Express yourself fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Driving license class B

DESIRABLE

  • Higher driving license categories
  • Experience as an inspection technician, vehicle technician, or other quality-controlling work
  • Knowledge and experience of working with status assessments on vehicles
  • Good computer skills
  • Completed military service training
  • Work experience as an inspection technician or vehicle mechanic.

The work requires travel in the service, both domestically and internationally.

The position is a civilian role. The employment includes an international work obligation.
