Arvidsjaur Airport is located 13 km by road from the center of Arvidsjaur, approximately 10 minutes by car. The airport was established in 1990 and is owned by Arvidsjaur Airport AB.

We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people in their work and can also work in a structured manner according to established routines. The tasks vary throughout the day and between seasons, with the winter period being particularly intense. You take initiative, feel responsible for your tasks, and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.

Job Responsibilities

The position involves work both in security control and with cleaning services.

In security control, you are responsible for:

• Checking passengers and luggage before departure
• Conducting patrols within the airport area

During times without flight traffic, you will work with cleaning services in the airport's facilities.

You will work closely with airlines, crews, and passengers in daily operations. The position includes conducting searches of individuals and luggage, which places high demands on integrity, social skills, and the ability to follow established routines. You will also collaborate with and support other functions at the airport.

The work involves shift work. Currently, the working hours are:

Monday–Friday: 05:30–16:30

Sunday: 12:00–16:00

Working hours may vary depending on customer needs, and overtime may occur.

The airport is located about 13 km outside the town of Arvidsjaur and lacks public transport connections. Therefore, you need to have your own means of transportation to and from the workplace.

Basic Requirements for the Position

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Approved security clearance from the Police Authority
• Approved health examination via occupational health services
• Normal color vision (required for image interpretation during baggage screening)
• Driving license B

Training

Special training and qualifications are required for work at the airport. These are provided by the airport and can be given in both Swedish and English.

Basic training for security personnel (5 days) can be conducted at another location or at the airport, depending on the availability of training instructors. Continuous theoretical and practical training will follow throughout the employment period.
