HSE Engineer at Luleå Energi Elnät

We are now strengthening our occupational health and safety efforts at Luleå Energi Elnät and are looking for an HSE Engineer who wants to work closely with the operations and contribute to safe and secure workplaces. This is a role for you who enjoys being out in the field, collaborating with colleagues, and translating requirements and regulations into effective working methods in everyday life.

About the role

As an HSE Engineer with us, you will work closely with operations and support managers, project leaders, and employees on issues related to occupational health and safety, security, quality, and the environment. You will play an important role in developing our operational occupational health and safety work and contribute to identifying, managing, and preventing risks in a timely manner.

You will work in close collaboration with specialist resources in both the occupational health and safety area as well as in environmental, sustainability, safety, and electrical safety.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Support managers and employees in occupational health and safety issues
• Interpret legal aspects and translate regulations and routines into operational work
• Participate in safety rounds and occupational health and safety follow-ups
• Contribute to risk assessments and investigations
• Develop and follow up action plans
• Work with construction site safety coordination in projects
• Collaborate with contractors and other parts of the group

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in occupational health and safety/KMA/HSE or equivalent experience. You have good knowledge of construction site safety coordination. We expect you to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You are comfortable using digital tools and systems, such as IA systems and the Office suite, and feel at ease using digital working methods in your daily work. A driver's license (B) is required.

We consider it an advantage if you have professional experience in the fields of occupational health and safety, environmental, and safety work. This can include experience such as: client responsibility, BAS P/U, and collaboration in occupational health and safety. It is an extra plus for us if you have worked with these types of issues within electrical network operations or the energy sector.
