About the role:

We need to strengthen our team in Kiruna and are looking for someone who wants to develop into a key person in pressure inspection. As an inspection engineer, you will be out daily with various customers, large and small facilities, performing technical controls and inspections of pressurized equipment. There is a wide variety of objects and customers, from pressure vessels in a school cafeteria to boilers, pipelines, and compressed air tanks at a paper mill. In addition to technical inspections, we assist our customers with reviews and documentation in accordance with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations, such as risk assessments, ongoing supervision journals, etc. We see that you thrive with responsibility as you plan how your workweeks should look to suit both your work and your customer.

Your place of employment is Kiruna. Daily travel for work and overnight trips may occur.

Do you have what it takes?

To thrive in this role, we see that you have a strong interest in technology as well as in social interactions with customers. In addition to the training Kiwa will provide, we believe you are goal-oriented and enjoy challenges while having a personal drive to develop. You enjoy being active and have a good ability to independently plan your work.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, such as operational or marine engineering, or a technical high school education
  • Process knowledge or operational background in refrigeration technology, energy, forestry, or process industry
  • Driver's license B
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Good skills in the Office suite
  • Experience from the mining industry is required

If you are already an inspection engineer with the relevant authorizations, we consider that an advantage.
