Övertorneå Fire Department is looking for part-time firefighters

Job Responsibilities:

As a part-time firefighter, you will work with fire and rescue services as well as equipment maintenance. Training and exercises will encompass approximately 50 hours per year.

On-call Duty:

On-call duty is distributed over 7 days during a 3-week period, with a response time (time from alarm to dispatch) of no more than 6 minutes.

Qualifications (requirements)

• Good health and physical fitness
• Traffic-safe vision
• Driver's license at least class B
• Ability to reach the fire station within 6 minutes of an alarm
• Ability to leave your regular workplace immediately upon alarm

Meritorious

• Vocational training
• First aid training
• Work experience
• Good local knowledge
• Driver's license B, C, E
