About the Administration
The Employment and Education Administration has a collective responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues that concern our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Culture School and food supply, as well as fulfilling tasks for the medical and psychological aspects of student health in municipal preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, secondary schools, and adapted secondary schools.
As an employee in our administration, you will have competent colleagues who show respect and tolerance, and whose great commitment creates joy and pride at work. Together, we focus on continuously improving operations.
Job Responsibilities
The Employment and Education Administration is now seeking a security officer to coordinate, develop, and implement systematic work within security, civil preparedness, and information security. It is an exciting job where you will work together with all the administration's operations.
As a security officer at the Employment and Education Administration, you support our operations in operational security work, based on both legal requirements and local governing documents that you are also involved in developing. The role spans a wide area of safety and security issues, such as physical security, systematic fire protection work, information security, crisis preparedness, and insurance matters. The assignment includes working systematically to ensure that the operations meet both statutory requirements and the goals for safety and security. You will do this by initiating and driving security work, providing support to managers and employees, and contributing to raising awareness of security issues within the organization.
In addition to collaborating with the administration's operations, you will also have close cooperation with and support from security officers in other administrations in Boden Municipality, as well as with employees in the department of Democracy, Communication, and Security, who work across the municipality on security issues.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in the field of security, crisis preparedness, or equivalent education deemed comparable. You have experience in risk, security, and/or information security work, preferably within public administration.
To succeed in this role, you should have a good ability to lead and drive processes related to safety and security work in a structured manner. You adapt easily to changing circumstances, are stable, and maintain your calm even in stressful situations. Furthermore, you are proactive, plan, organize, and prioritize your work, and ensure that results are achieved. You have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as basic knowledge of English.
We place great importance on personal qualities and that you are the right person for the assignment.
The position is subject to placement in a security class according to statutory requirements (2018:585), which means that background checks, security assessments, and registry checks will be conducted prior to employment.
The application deadline is March 11. Selection and interviews may occur on an ongoing basis, so we welcome your application today!
