Military Traffic Inspector at Norrland Dragoon Regiment K 4
Norrland Dragoon Regiment K 4 in Arvidsjaur is one of Sweden's new regiments, but has a long and distinguished history. The unit can operate and function in all environments of Sweden. The combat capability in the subarctic environment is the core and specialty of the regiment.
K 4 is now seeking a military traffic inspector to be based in Arvidsjaur, who wants to help create an organization in growth. The position is currently placed in the execution department (G3). As a military traffic inspector at K 4, you will be led by the traffic safety manager.
Main Responsibilities
The main responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and quality assuring all vehicle training conducted on the various vehicles we have, such as light and heavy personnel carriers, snowmobiles, heavy trucks, and heavy trailers. It may also involve acting as a course leader and instructor in vehicle training depending on competence and experience. Other tasks include renewing military driving licenses, developing training materials and training arrangements, conducting military road traffic controls, providing guidance to colleagues in vehicle service, training instructors in vehicle service centrally or regionally as needed, following up and supporting exercise leaders before, during, and after exercises, as well as continuing professional development within vehicle service and traffic safety in the Armed Forces.
The Armed Forces and K 4 are under construction, which means that placement and job responsibilities may change.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Completed approved upper secondary education or equivalent education or experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Trained traffic inspector and examiner for heavier licenses
- Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
- Good knowledge of working with the Office suite.
- Driving licenses B, BE, C, CE (manual transmission).
Personal Qualities
As a military traffic inspector, you enjoy working independently, driving and leading projects, and have good collaborative skills. You are responsible, structured, pedagogical, and have a good ability to educate others. You are service-oriented, solution-oriented, and approach new tasks with openness. You actively contribute to good cooperation and a positive atmosphere in the team. We also appreciate if you have a strong commitment and interest in traffic safety and vehicle service.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
