Your role

We are now looking for a service worker for LKAB Brand. The work area is LKAB's industrial area in Vitåfors, both above and below ground. Travel to LKAB's facilities in Luleå may occur.

In this role, you will work with preventive and corrective fire protection work, such as fire protection inspections, inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers, fire alarms, and other rescue service materials. The work also includes service and installation tasks, as well as conducting fire protection training. You will plan the assignments together with the workplace but are responsible for planning and structuring your work. The work is varied and is largely carried out on-site at the facilities.

In the position, you will also have the opportunity to serve in LKAB's firefighting force as a firefighter or fire officer.

What you bring with you

The work requires that you have a high safety awareness, are responsible, and work in an orderly manner. You plan and structure your working hours effectively based on the assignment. You have good collaboration skills, are communicative, and enjoy working together with others to achieve common goals. You also meet the medical and physical requirements corresponding to a firefighter to be part of LKAB's industrial rescue service.

We expect you to have:

• A valid B driver's license for manual transmission is required; a C driver's license is an advantage.
• Approved high school grades (requirement)
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written (requirement)
• Familiarity with mining and/or industrial facilities is an advantage
• Experience or education in fire protection or rescue services is an advantage
