The Social Administration (SCF) is led by a director and is divided into four departments: SCF Staff, Child and Youth Authority, Child and Youth Interventions, and Adults.

Dependency Unit 1

Dependency Unit 1 belongs to the adult department of the Social Administration and operates under the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Abusers Act (LVM). The target group is individuals over 21 years old with dependency issues. The unit's mission includes investigating and assessing the need for support based on applications and reports, motivating for treatment interventions, and following up on these. The unit collaborates with many internal and external actors. The workgroup is well-functioning and has good collegial support. Several employees have extensive experience working with the target group, which means you will work with experienced colleagues.

In this recruitment, we are looking for a total of 3 candidates, two permanent positions and one temporary position for 8 months.

Job Description

As a social worker, you will investigate individual needs for interventions based on current legislation. You are expected to motivate, investigate, assess, decide on, and follow up on interventions. Time spent with clients and partners in meetings is an important part of the job, as is documentation in the form of investigations and record-keeping. The work is very varied, and the days can look very different. The unit uses ASI (Addiction Severity Index) as a methodological support during investigations and follow-ups. MI (Motivational Interviewing) is used as a conversational methodology.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. The position requires a B driver's license and very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious to have:

• Training in ASI.
• MI training.
• Experience in regulatory activities.
• Experience working with the target group of adults with dependency issues.
• Knowledge of Lifecare.
