Micasa Fastigheter builds, manages, and develops properties - with care.
We are part of the public utility in the city of Stockholm. Our mission is to provide accessible housing for the city's elderly and other groups prioritized by the city in the housing market.
The number of elderly people in Stockholm is growing, and at the city's request, the company's portfolio needs to grow to meet future needs. To meet this demand, we have established a new role as Business Developer. We are now looking for someone who wants to help build the future of Stockholm!
About the position
In the role of business developer, you will be responsible for driving and coordinating the company's business and operational development with a focus on long-term value creation, efficiency, and quality. The role is central to translating strategy into action through structured change management, innovation, and continuous follow-up in close collaboration with the company's various functions. Organizationally, you will belong to the Business Development unit, which currently consists of two business developers and a unit manager. The unit is part of the Department of Economics and Business Development.
Main responsibilities:
- Initiate, project lead, implement, and follow up on change and development initiatives
- Lead and drive development issues in situation-adapted and cross-functional teams
- Coordinate the work with the business plan from a holistic perspective and be responsible for its progress through a clear structure for planning, follow-up, and development
- Support the company's managers in matters related to business and operational development
- Be responsible for planning, follow-up, and reporting on the company's internal control and internal audit, including monitoring compliance with laws
- Develop and manage the company's management system from a holistic perspective
- Develop, document, and revise working methods, routines, and process descriptions
- Conduct risk assessments and analyze operational results
- Ensure that uniform and relevant governing documents exist and revise and create new ones as needed
- Coordinate methodological support in development projects and contribute to goal formulation, analysis, and evaluation
- Develop, further develop, and visualize plans for coordinated operational development
- Contribute to strengthening the organization's ability to work data-driven
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Several years of experience in business development, digitization, and strategic change management
- The ability to work both strategically and operationally with improvement work from a holistic perspective where strategy and development based on the business plan are translated into concrete and actionable initiatives
- Documented experience in project management from idea to implementation and completion
- High digital maturity and good IT and systems understanding
- A university degree of 3–5 years in economics, engineering, social sciences, or equivalent
It is meritorious to have:
- Education or experience in process mapping, for example in Microsoft Visio
- Experience working with investigations and report writing
- Understanding of working in politically governed organizations
- Experience from the real estate industry or related fields
- Knowledge of or experience with PM3
Personal qualities
In the role of business developer, you are proactive and driving/active in development work, as well as innovative and open to different perspectives. You contribute to good collaboration by having a accommodating and problem-solving approach. You invite dialogue, listen actively, and adapt communication based on the situation. You plan and organize work effectively and in a structured way, prioritizing and adhering to set deadlines.
