About the Position

We are currently looking for an engaged and self-driven Business Controller for an interim assignment of approximately six months. The assignment is with a client known for its warm and caring culture where people thrive, stay long, and take pride in their work. At the same time, the organization is on an exciting transformation journey, making the role particularly dynamic and developmental.

The workplace is office-first, meaning you will work on-site five days a week with your team. A valid security clearance is required to take on the assignment.

The assignment starts as an interim role but is intended to transition into a permanent position if it feels right for both parties.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be part of an experienced Business Controller team that works closely with the organization, supporting it with analysis, follow-up, and financial management. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate cost levels in monthly financial statements, conducting analyses, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes. You will collaborate closely with operational managers and the finance department, serving as an important link in providing the business with the right decision-making basis and good cost control.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Follow-up, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Monthly financial statement work and quality assurance of cost levels
• Support to operational managers in financial analyses and decision-making materials
• Ensure access to relevant reports and financial insights

Suitable Background

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in finance and around five years of experience in business control or auditing. You have a good understanding of accounting and reporting, are analytical, and thrive in a role where you combine structure, operational support, and ongoing financial responsibility.

Personal Attributes

As a person, you are communicative, unpretentious, and confident, and you appreciate close collaboration with the business. You have good prioritization skills, work in a structured manner, and contribute with a positive and professional attitude. Advanced Excel skills are a prerequisite, and experience with IFS or Power BI is a plus.
