Advocatum is a human rights law firm with expertise in criminal law, family law, social law, and immigration law. We are fully committed to each assignment and strive for the best possible results for our clients. We operate throughout Sweden and also offer advice in Arabic and Syriac in addition to Swedish and English.

We are now looking for a lawyer who wants to help develop our operations and make a real difference for people in vulnerable situations.

About the role

As a lawyer with us, you will work broadly within human rights law, focusing on your experience and the needs of the firm. Assignments may include:

· Criminal law: public/private defender, victim's counsel, special representative for children

· Family law: custody, residence, visitation, paternity, enforcement, custody transfer

· Social law: LVU, LVM, LPT, LRV, and placement in protected housing

· Immigration law: asylum, detention, work permits, family reunification, citizenship

The role involves independent litigation, client contact, strategy and evidence assessment, as well as close collaboration in a team.

We are looking for someone who

· Is a lawyer (member of the Swedish Bar Association)

· Has documented experience in litigation (broad human rights profile is an advantage)

· Works in a structured manner, is confident in the role, and has high integrity

· Is solution-oriented and has a strong client focus
