We are now looking for an experienced AI and Data Governance specialist for a strategically important assignment in an international environment. Here you will have the opportunity to influence how the organization governs, develops, and implements data and AI work in a responsible, efficient, and compliant manner.

This is a role for you who combines strategic insight with operational execution capability.

About the assignment

You will be part of a cross-functional team working to strengthen and further develop the organization’s data and AI governance. The assignment involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting ethical AI usage, and driving the implementation of best practices in data management.

You will work closely with the business, IT, and governing forums where your contributions will have a direct impact on how data and AI are used and governed within the organization.

Your mission

As a consultant in AI & Data Governance, you will:

• Support and further develop governance frameworks for data and AI
• Drive operational work within process development and documentation
• Ensure that data and AI processes are consistent, traceable, and compliant
• Collaborate with internal councils, business areas, and other stakeholders
• Support the implementation and monitoring of regulatory requirements
• Contribute to training initiatives and change management for increased adoption

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain governance structures
• Harmonize data definitions and standards
• Ensure compliance with the EU Data Act and EU AI Act
• Support ethical AI principles and responsible AI development
• Apply modern governance models such as Data Mesh and federated governance
• Translate regulatory requirements into concrete processes and controls

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• Documented experience in Data Governance and AI Governance
• Practical experience in implementing the EU Data Act and EU AI Act
• Strong understanding of data management principles
• Experience working cross-functionally between business, IT, and compliance
• Ability to translate strategy into operational practices
• Experience with modern governance frameworks such as Data Mesh
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in an international context
