Karlskoga Municipality works with competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's skills and thus combating discrimination.

The Social Administration works to ensure that all citizens can receive the support they may need in various situations. This is done within the framework of social services' assignments and various legislations, as well as based on the values of the Social Administration. This may involve home care, special housing, advice and support for people with disabilities, financial assistance, or help with addiction problems. The municipality's competence supply unit is also part of the administration.

Daily activities are part of Support for Functioning within the Social Administration. As an employee, you work based on decisions made according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons) and the Health and Medical Services Act. We provide support to people with disabilities in their daytime activities. We work with clear pedagogical methods, both for individuals and in groups. Daily activities have 18 different operations with various content. Kördelux is included as an activity for the participants.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a work supervisor at Intrycket, you support individuals of various ages and with different disabilities alongside your colleague.

In Intrycket's group activities, there are participants with significant needs for you as staff to be clear and collaborate with the participants and colleagues regarding their needs. You work to strengthen the participant's self-esteem and independence in performing tasks/activities.

You work closely with and guide the participants. In the execution, you are present in the task, working alongside, demonstrating both verbally and physically, and guiding so that the participant succeeds. Visual support is used.

The tasks for the participants vary based on their wishes, abilities, and needs. Together with your colleague, you are tasked with developing the content of the activities with the participants. Tasks may include shopping for other activities, crafts, manufacturing, printing on towels, walks, and cleaning.

Participants also take part in Kördelux, where you as a work supervisor support them in exercises and sometimes during performances that the choir has.

Care and delegated health and medical tasks may occur. The assignment also includes legislated documentation regarding the participant, which requires you to express yourself verbally and in writing.

You collaborate with other operations within Support for Functioning. Intrycket shares part of the premises with Örntjänst, and staff assist each other in the operations when needed. The assignment also requires collaboration with the participant's relatives, guardians, and other support persons regarding the participant when they wish and need it.

You receive support in a team consisting of a manager and colleagues such as work supervisors/job coaches and support pedagogues in other operations.

Our everyday life should be characterized by community, joy, innovation, development, and how we together reach our goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
