Job Description

Do you want to make a vital difference for vulnerable people? Then the job as an operational leader is a meaningful role. In the role of operational leader, you will be responsible for institution-wide coordination and management of ongoing work outside office hours, in the evenings and nights, to promote a safe care and work environment. The work will also include daytime and you will be a team player regarding coordination and management together with the institutional management. You will guide and strengthen your colleagues in their work and ensure that the work is conducted legally and in accordance with applicable governing documents, methods, and set goals. Specifically, this means that you are responsible for incident management in emergency situations and take necessary actions after an incident has occurred. You will communicate noted deficiencies and deviations from routines to the relevant managers. You will establish and update safety assessments and make decisions on coercive measures according to LVU, LSU, and LVM in accordance with SiS's work and delegation order.

Qualifications

You have the will and ability to act based on applicable decisions, guidelines, and policies. You have a holistic view and act in the best interest of the organization. Furthermore, you are structured in your work and have a good ability to plan and prioritize effectively.

You should also have:

  • Relevant higher education such as social work, behavioral science, or another equivalent higher education, or at least a two-year vocational education (treatment pedagogue) along with experience of work within SiS or similar operations.
  • Several years of experience working within SiS or another organization focused on care, treatment, and safety, such as social services, care and treatment, correctional services, or other relevant operations.
  • Good ability to lead, prioritize, and coordinate a workgroup.

Employment:

The position is a permanent full-time employment and starts with a six-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement. Working hours are distributed over days, evenings, and nights.
