About the position
The positions in Mobile Team 1 and 3 involve supporting service recipients in their own homes. Your main task is to work with your colleagues to provide tailored educational support that contributes to a meaningful, independent, and developing life in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL). You will provide individual support to service recipients in daily activities, which includes everything from personal care and household management to helping break social isolation, providing structure in daily life, and accompanying them in activities. We work to create conditions for individuals to achieve their own goals.
Examples of tasks:
- participate, assist, and support service recipients in various household chores such as cooking, laundry, and cleaning, etc.
- plan and develop work independently as well as together with other colleagues
- take on case responsibility and areas of responsibility
- work in a motivating manner that benefits the service recipient's development
- maintain contact with relatives and others in the service recipient's network

About the workplace
Mobile Team 1 is based at Idrottsvägen 22 while Mobile Team 3 is based at Näbbtorgsgatan 16-18, and we also have an office in Odensbacken. Mobile Team 1 consists of seven support assistants and one housing pedagog. Together, they support about 80 service recipients. Mobile Team 3 consists of 14 support assistants, one support pedagog, one housing pedagog, and one support coordinator. Together, they support about 150 service recipients.
The Social Services Department for Disability Support provides assistance and services to individuals with physical and mental disabilities according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SoL).

Qualifications
As a support assistant with us, you are a secure and stable person. You have the ability to meet service recipients in a professional manner by being calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach. You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. Furthermore, you have a positive view of people with great respect for each person's individual needs. You master the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with the service recipient and other staff as well as document what the operations require. Good computer skills are also required for documentation.
We place great importance on personal suitability.
Requirements:
- certified nursing assistant education or equivalent education in child and leisure programs (focus on educational and/or social work)
- driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle
Desirable:
- documented experience working with individuals with disabilities
- experience with documentation systems such as Treserva and/or LifeCare
- experience working with methods such as MI, R-ACT, and/or ESL

Employment type: permanent position

Working hours: day, evening, and weekend work
