Bra Assistans i Örebro AB provides personal assistance to people with disabilities according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) and the Social Insurance Code and the Social Services Act (SoL).

We are looking for female assistants interested in working with an active and cheerful woman in her 30s with spina bifida, who uses a wheelchair! She lives in Örebro with her children, partner, and pets.

It is a great merit if you have experience in personal assistance work.

The work may include everything from personal care, intimate hygiene, transfers, cooking, household chores, assistance with leisure activities, etc. You will help perform daily tasks together with the individual, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry, walking, crafting, etc.

You must also be able to adapt to the individual's own pace, which varies from day to day.

The workplace is in the individual's home and wherever the individual may be. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends. We would also like you to be able to work with short notice if needed, due to illness or similar.

We prefer that you, as an applicant, have a flexible and independent working style and can easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have a genuine interest and feeling for caring for people.

You should be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where communication is very important.
