The Social Administration works to ensure that all citizens, when needed, can receive the support they may require in various situations. This is done within the framework of social services' assignments and various legislations, as well as based on the values of the Social Administration. This can involve home care, special housing, advice and support for people with disabilities, financial support, or assistance with addiction problems. Within the administration, there is also the municipality's competence supply unit.
The Social Administration is divided into five areas: Home Care, Care and Nursing Homes, Health and Medical Care, Individual and Family Care, and the area for people with disabilities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment, training, and investigation of foster homes. As a foster home secretary, the focus within foster home care is to guide the foster homes.
Your tasks include writing contracts with the foster homes and managing their compensation. Continuing education for active foster homes as well as discussion groups. Investigation of contact families. Conducting adoption investigations.
The foster home group is being expanded with this position as we will also work with Degerfors Municipality.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Social Work.
- Driver's license (B) is required as the position involves a lot of travel.
- Experience in investigating children is an advantage.
Personal qualifications requested include being secure, structured, relationship-building, analytical, and collaborative.
