We are looking for a dedicated and qualified child and family caseworker for the social services in Laxå Municipality.

As a child and family caseworker, you will play a central role in supporting and ensuring the welfare of children and families in our municipality.

You will work in a team with child and family caseworkers and be supervised by a senior social worker.

Responsibilities

As a child and family caseworker in Laxå Municipality, you will work with all aspects of social services. You will investigate according to SoL and LVU, work with family law and foster care issues, and follow up on interventions. This makes the work both stimulating and varied. By working with all aspects of social services, you will have a broad and developing role where no day is the same. The variation of the assignments gives you good opportunities to get to know the children, youth, and families you meet in depth, build trusting relationships, and create sustainable alliances. The close work with clients, along with the opportunity to follow cases over time, contributes to meaningful work where you can clearly see the effects of your engagement.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and experience working as a caseworker in the child and family area. We prefer that you have experience with BBIC and the operational system Procapita. We also appreciate good communication skills and the ability to establish trusting relationships with children, parents, and other partners.
