Fundraising Manager at Prostate Cancer Association

Do you want to make a real difference and help more people engage in the fight against prostate cancer?

The Prostate Cancer Association is now looking for a Fundraising Manager who wants to be part of developing our fundraising efforts and contribute to more money going to research, better support for patients, and increased visibility for Sweden's most common cancer. This is a role for you who want to combine strategy with operational work, build relationships, and create engagement among individuals, companies, and associations. You will work closely with the Secretary General and your colleagues in a family-like team, based at the association's office in Bergshamra, Solna.

Main Responsibilities:

• Drive and develop the association's overall fundraising work towards individuals and companies by strengthening engagement for prostate cancer as a societal issue.
• Collaborate with patient associations and encourage, inspire, and engage them in fundraising efforts.
• Initiate, support, and further develop tools that facilitate local fundraising initiatives.
• Initiate and manage corporate contacts.
• Work with colleagues to drive the Mustache Campaign.
• Participate in and project manage events.
• Represent the association in external contexts.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for someone with experience in fundraising, donations, sponsorship, or relationship-driven sales who thrives in a networking and outgoing role. You have a good understanding of association life, volunteer engagement, and feel comfortable giving presentations. Naturally, you share the values of the Prostate Cancer Association and express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. Experience in fundraising from individuals and/or companies within a membership organization is a significant plus. An established network in the business community or experience in driving events and public activities is also considered an asset.

As a person, you are unpretentious and thrive in smaller contexts where everyone collaborates and takes responsibility together. You are driven and proactive, with the ability to turn ideas into action and create tangible results. You easily create participation and build strong, trusting relationships, and through your engaged approach, you also inspire and motivate others.
