Your New Job
The Education Administration is the municipality's largest department, and we work for an accessible school for all and to be an organization with joy in learning. The operations are characterized by engaged educators who, through reflection and flexibility, utilize and challenge each student's abilities and competencies to meet a changing world.
You will work health-promoting, preventive, and remedial based on the decided job description for your profession. Through the cross-professional collaboration in the EHT, we support students' development towards educational goals and contribute to creating accessible learning environments.
Your new assignment will be shaped largely together based on your skills and experience, and above all, based on our students' needs. Specific parts of your assignment may include:
- Providing advice and support to school management, staff, and guardians on special educational issues and offering supervision.
- Conducting observations and investigating the need for special support at the request of the principal, as well as being responsible for action plans, follow-up, and coordination of support measures.
- Collaborating with external actors and being responsible for handovers regarding students in need of support.
- Contributing to school development and student health work through mapping, analysis, follow-up, and planning at the school level.
- Documenting in student journals, participating in professional networks, and following current research.
You will be part of the school's student health team and participate in both promoting and preventive work as well as remedial work. Collaborating with guardians, school staff, and external organizations such as BUP, En väg in, resource schools, and social services is an important part of the job.

Ljungarum School Area F-6 is located in the southern part of Jönköping. The school area consists of Ljungarum School F-6 and Strömsberg School F-3. In total, Ljungarum School Area has about 340 students and the staff consists of around 60 employees. Approximately 250 students are enrolled at Ljungarum School F-6. Ljungarum School F-6 also has a special program in the form of communication classes.

Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has a teaching license for primary school and a special education degree, basic IT skills, and good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written forms.
You have a strong interest in helping children and young people develop according to their abilities and want to work with early interventions to promote learning, well-being, and ultimately the opportunity to achieve eligibility for upper secondary school.
You should be accustomed to working independently and can complete your tasks within the allotted time frame. As a person, you have the ability to see students' different needs and take into account their individual circumstances. You have an open attitude and an inclusive approach. You have good communication skills both verbally and in writing. You feel comfortable interacting with children and young people, their guardians, and other organizations.
A prerequisite for your success in this role is that you have a holistic view of what promotes children's and young people's learning and development. We place great importance on collaboration skills and personal suitability.
