JOB DESCRIPTION

As a part-time substitute within primary school, you will support the daily pedagogical work.

The tasks may vary depending on the nature of the assignment, but may include:

• leading or supporting teaching in class or smaller groups
• providing support for individual students or student groups during the school day
• participating in recess activities, meal situations, and after-school activities
• contributing to safety and a conducive learning environment in the classroom and at school

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• has education in the child and youth program, teacher training, or equivalent experience working in schools
• has a good attitude, is responsible, flexible, and collaborative
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• is at least 18 years old and can be available at short notice if needed

Experience working in primary school or adapted primary school is an advantage.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Please attach grades, diploma, preschool teacher certification, and/or teacher certification.

OTHER

As the need for substitutes can arise suddenly, you need to be able to report to the workplace at short notice. You are expected to be available for work at least three shifts per week, with exceptions for retirees and students within our operational areas.

The work takes place during the day, Monday to Friday, during school opening hours from 06:30 to 18:30.

As an employee of the staffing department, you must present a criminal record extract before employment can be created, regardless of which activity you will work within. When you present your extract from the criminal record, you must also bring valid identification.

Before a possible employment, we will check citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to present a valid residence/work permit or prove that you are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Bring valid passport, national ID card, or personal certificate.

In several of our activities, a driver's license may be a requirement. Therefore, a driver's license is an advantage.
