Job Responsibilities

We are primarily looking for vocational teachers in agricultural machinery, but also in crop production and animal husbandry.

As a teacher, you will be part of the education for our high school students in the Natural Resource Program. Together with other vocational teachers, you will be responsible for the students' education in your subject, including teaching, mentoring, and being a class teacher.

About Us

Munkagårdsgymnasiet is a small high school that only offers the Natural Resource Program. Our specializations are animal care, agriculture, nature tourism, and forestry. We also have an adaptation of the Natural Resource Program for students with an NPF diagnosis called Spåret, where we offer specializations in animal care, agriculture, and gardening.

We have about 120 staff and around 300 students. The school also has a boarding school where about two-thirds of the students live from Monday to Friday. The boarding school is located about 1 km from the school, which is situated in a beautiful environment in Tvååker.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for someone with a vocational teacher's degree in one of the subjects. You have the opportunity to obtain a teaching degree while working at the school. You have practical experience in crop production, animal husbandry, or agricultural machinery. We also prefer candidates with previous experience in education.

As a person, you have a passionate interest in working with young people, you have a low-affective approach, and you put the student at the center.

To thrive with us, it is important that you have good collaboration skills. To effectively reach our youth, you also need to be flexible and creative. Personal suitability will be highly valued.
