Kärlekens School is looking for a primary school teacher in SUND activities

Kärlekens School is a 4-9 school with approximately 550 students, located in the Kärleken district just north of central Halmstad.

In the operational area, there are also two F-3 schools with which we have a close collaboration to provide students with the best conditions throughout their primary education.

Your responsibilities

Work as a primary school teacher in the school's SUND activities, grades 7-9.

As a teacher in SUND, you will work together with other teachers and student assistants to teach students who, based on their needs, have their education entirely or partially in a special education group. You will collaborate with the students' regular teachers and mentors, as well as the student health team, to plan and follow up on the students' development together. As part of a work team, you will also help develop the school's pedagogical activities. The pedagogical responsibility that teachers have for ensuring that students achieve the goals often requires ingenuity, creativity, and flexibility. You have high expectations for the students and can motivate them to achieve good results in their schoolwork by clarifying the goals and knowledge requirements for them. In the role of a teacher in SUND, a good ability to analyze the child's needs and to use a well-adapted methodology for the student and the group is required.

The work requires collaboration with other colleagues at the school in a non-prestigious spirit. The staff is also offered support in the form of special teachers, school counselors, school nurses, school psychologists, and principals. Together, there is a shared responsibility for all students.

Your qualifications

You are a licensed primary school teacher with the authority to teach in grades 7-9 and have experience working with NPF.

You have the ability to lead and are communicative. You find it easy to collaborate and see the work team and other staff as an asset. You have analytical skills and view problem-solving as part of your daily routine. You have a good ability to build relationships, create trust, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

The position is a fixed-term employment, but there may be opportunities for extension or a permanent position.
