RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in business economics and law, you will be responsible for teaching, guiding students, and mentoring. You will be part of a close-knit team that cares for each other, has fun together, and focuses on relationships and student development.

You will work closely with other subject colleagues in economics and law and have dedicated, focused time for joint subject development. Together we develop the program and teaching for the benefit of our students.

At Falkenberg High School, collaboration with the business community is central, both to strengthen students' employability and to prepare them for further studies.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with qualifications to teach business economics, and preferably also law or another relevant subject. At the same time, we also welcome newly graduated teachers, student teachers in the final stages of their education, and individuals with an academic background in economics and an interest in teaching. We offer good conditions for introduction, support, and professional development.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who:

• Works relationally and builds trust: You create safe and trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. This is a prerequisite for students' learning and for good collaboration in the team.
• Is engaged, positive, and wants to develop: You take responsibility for your own professional development and contribute ideas and engagement in the development of both teaching and the Economics Program.
• Is structured, flexible, and solution-oriented: You plan and implement teaching in a clear and thoughtful manner, while also being able to adapt when conditions change. You see opportunities rather than obstacles and handle challenges constructively, which is important in a school environment where students' needs may vary.
• Has good subject knowledge and is willing to share: You are confident in your subjects and see the value of collegial learning. You actively contribute in teams and subject groups by sharing experiences, materials, and ideas.
• Has good digital competence: You use digital tools as a natural part of teaching and daily work, and find it easy to familiarize yourself with new systems and working methods.

Previous experience in similar work is an advantage, but not a requirement.
