We are looking for a teacher with a focus on leisure activities for Åled School

Åled is in an expansive phase with many new house and apartment constructions in Himmelkulla, right next to the school, about a ten-minute drive from Halmstad.

Åled School has students from 6 to 13 years old, from preschool to grade 6. The four departments of the leisure activities are integrated into the school. Currently, an expansion of the school is underway, which is expected to be completed by 2027. Åled School has a qualitative EHT team that has many exciting projects underway, working closely together to benefit all students. Åled School is a preschool to grade 6 school with about 250 students.

Your responsibilities

As a teacher, you will be responsible together with the rest of the team for the leisure activities. This includes planning, documentation, and evaluation to develop the activities based on the school's governing documents. We start from the students' needs, experiences, and thinking and adapt our activities to the fact that students have different conditions. Our mission is to support the students' social and general development, expand and deepen their knowledge and experiences, and offer active breaks and meaningful leisure time. During the day, you will work collaboratively with the school class. You will help the students by providing them with support and stimulation based on their conditions.

The tasks vary, providing a diverse and challenging job, while the work requires both competence and personal qualities from you. You are a stable and secure person with a good ability to create trust in your surroundings. It is important that you can work independently, are clear, decisive, and responsive to adapt to the students' needs. You work calmly and systematically with low-arousal responses and have a positive and inclusive approach to students, colleagues, and parents.
